1.Terms and Conditions
1.1 You should read the terms and conditions set out below before purchasing goods using this website.
1.2 These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of Motorcycle World Direct goods over this website. In using this website for this purpose, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not understand or accept these terms and conditions, you must refrain from processing your order using the website and contact us for further advice. These terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with any other applicable terms and conditions governing the use of this website including the Legal Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and Copyright.
2. Ordering procedure
2.1 You may offer to purchase Motorcycle World Direct goods described in this website for the price specified on this website.
2.2 Your order must contain your name, postal address, phone number, e-mail address, credit card details and any other ordering information specified on this website.
2.3 Confirmation of your purchase will be sent to your e-mail address once your payment has been cleared. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within two business days please contact info@motorcycleworlddirect.com
2.4 You may not cancel an order once it has been submitted, even if our confirmation e-mail is still pending.
2.5 The goods are offered for sale only to persons who can make legally binding contracts.
3. Payment and price
3.1 Payment must be effected by credit card using the ordering facility on this website (PayPal) for full PayPal terms and conditions visit www.paypal.com. This is the user agreement for the PayPal services.
3.2 Prices are inclusive of goods and services tax unless otherwise stated.
3.3 Motorcycle World Direct reserves the right to alter prices, specifications and features without prior notice. Motorcycle World Direct also reserves the right to request extra payment or cancel the order due to technical problems, if the wrong amount has been paid.
4. Cancellation due to error or unavailability
4.1 You acknowledge that despite our reasonable precautions, products may be listed at an incorrect price, with incorrect information, or which are unavailable due to a typographical error or like oversight. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction, notwithstanding that your order has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. We reserve this right up until the time of delivery of goods.
4.2 If a cancellation of this nature occurs after your credit card has been charged for the purchase, we will contact you to arrange a credit to your credit card account for the amount in question.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery of goods purchased will be dispatched usually within 3-7 days depending on stock levels using a recognised courier service and all goods will need to be signed for.
5.2 Postage cost charged covers packaging, carriage and insurance.
5.3 During any postal strikes delivery of goods may exceed our 3-7 day delivery policy.
5.4 Any orders out with the UK mainland, will not qualify for free delivery.
5.5 Orders out with the UK, please allow 21 days for delivery.
6. Refunds/replacements
6.1 Under certain conditions, refunds/replacements are available.
6.2 FAULTY GOODS:-In the unfortunate event of receiving a faulty Motorcycle World Direct product we will offer replacement/repair or refund if required. We will not cover or refund postage costs as it is up to the customer to get the goods back to us.
6.3 Upon receipt of your purchase if you find the goods do not fit or are not to your satisfaction we will offer a suitable replacement or a full refund to the amount of the product. We will NOT cover or refund postage.
6.4 When returning items for a full refund, goods must be returned within 14 days, lables and packaging still in place.
6.5 When returning items for an exchange, goods must be returned within 14 days, lables and packaging still in place.
6.6 Any money refund agreed by motorcycleworlddirect will be completed up to 14 days after refund is agreed.
7. Security
7.1 Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Whilst Motorcycle World Direct strive to protect such information, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us, including your credit card details, is transmitted at your own risk.
7.2 Nevertheless, once we receive your transmission, we will take reasonable steps to preserve the security of such information.
8. Privacy
OUR USE OF YOUR DETAILS AND YOUR PAYMENT DETAILS
We will only use your details for the purpose of fulfilling the order you made. We will only store your details for as long as we require to do so for this purpose, or to the extent we require to do so in respect of any legal obligations we have or for the purposes of the proper running of our business. You authorise us and the operators of our payment collection system, Paypal [www.paypal.co.uk], to process payment using your payment details for the products or for any other reason provided for in these terms and conditions.
Motorcycleworlddirect uses the Paypal Site Payments Pro payment system – see https://www.paypal-business.co.uk/site-payments-pro.asp Consumers have the choice to either pay via secure Paypal Express checkout system or via credit card and using Paypal as the merchant account.
The site and paypal uses Secure Socket Layer [SSL] to encrypt transmission of secure data.
You may add your email address to our mailing list by clicking on “mailing list.” You do not require to make a purchase from us to add your email address. If you so add your email address, you authorise us to store your email address and to use it to send you promotional information or details of offers we believe you may be interested in. You may at any time require us to remove your email address from our mailing list by sending us a notice to that effect.
Except as provided above we will not in any way store or process the information you provide us, and we will not pass any information you provide us to any other party.
